sounds like someone trying to get your account information i’m pretty sure it’s not e-bay i’ve gotten emails like that before and have heard it’s people trying to steal all you information never click a link like that from your email it brings you to a site that looks like ebay but it’s not good luck and hope this helps

first do not respond to that letter its probably a fake trying to get your password and info for e-bay. try logging onto your account and see if it works. if it does it was a phishing scam.
also shill bidding is when you get someone to place false bids to make the price of a item go up.

Shill bidding is when you bid to help run up the price working for seller..

I watch for this when bidding.

I doubt it is an ebay link though pass mouse over link and see what it shows link is in bottom bar probabbly not ebay the way it sounds..

I d check password stuff by going straight to ebay and logging in there not the email. if it works email is phishing scam.

This is a fake and is what’s known as phishing. They are trying to get you to fall for this and give them personal information. Do NOT answer this email in any way. Forward it on to spoof@ebay.com. They will thank you for it.

it means that either u or someone else did something that violated the ebay contract that u agreed to.

either your account has been hijacked, or it’s a pshing scam. I would try to contact e bay through another means and gather some information that way. absolutely do not respond to the e-mail with any information.

  7. patnone_01 says:

    IT IS NOT EBAY
do what the guy said about not putting any information for it and email it to the adress that is said for the other answer

  8. JORGE V says:

contact e-bay by other means— telephone or by mail.
my guess is that its a phising letter from someone.
dont give youre details until you have cleared it up with e-bay.

  9. Grand pa says:

scam ignor i get that and dont even use ebay

Go in and change your info, immediately…

  11. plumerjr says:

This is called "Phishing". Do not answer email nor provide any info to them as they are trying to scam you out of your personal info. Ebay would never send an email requiring you to re-enter info. Please like I said do not answer email or provide info it is a scam. You may get similar request if you have a Paypal account also.. Same rules apply.

  12. VinceY says:

If you’ve already replied to it, quickly go into e-Bay and change your password. And also inform e-Bay via email (go to e-Bay website and click on their email links) of the situation. Do this quickly before the spoof logs into your account and changes your password for you.

Manually type in http://www.ebay.com and go directly to their site. If it says @ the top that you are suspended and requires immediate attention then you are suspended. If it does not say anything like that then someone is phishing for your EBAY name and Password…Thanks
