Hi all
I am looking for a MTB to be used for off use only, (hardtail with front sus)
From what i’ve read an from what people are saying is that £300 is not enough to get a decent bike, but thats all i have.
I am willing to buy second hand but i really have no idea whats what an i know nothing about componants suspension so ebay is a no no
Heres what ive been looking at
Hardrock Sport for £244

Kona Fire Mountain £244

Scott aspect 60 £299

In an ideal world i would like good strong wheels an hubs an half decent suspension.
Hope some one can point me in the rite direction
Cheers
Chev

Some wonderful hardtails with sweet front suspension can be spotted at your budget for a mere 300—Surf winstanleysbikes.co.uk,rutlandcycling.com and evanscycles.co.uk—
the thing is all the bikes that you have chosen for mtb are likely to break the first 2 months. Go to mtbr.com and search them up to see what their weaknesses are. You might want to get the kona stuff or stuff.jr, for beginners it’s a really good and very durable bike. And plus it has a much stronger frame then all the bike that you want to buy.
