Im planning to buy a 2005 Scion tC off of eBay and I wanted to know what you guys thought heres the page:

Its in a salvage yard (me and my brother want to fix it up together) and it says it needs right front suspension work? what does that mean and how much does it cost?
ALSO: we cant find anything on replacement airbags for this model, so if you happen to know anything about prices for the driver, passenger, and driver…leg…air bags that would be great!

looks like a nice car, it says has front damage and suspension work needed. most likely some one hit something or a curb. didnt wreck it like a car crash but damaged the suspension. if the frame isnt tweeked its a good deal, ive done front suspension damage before i slid in the rain coming off the freeway and i turned and the rim of the car hit the curb, i didnt notice it till a month down the road when a bolt just broke and the car wanted to go left, and checking it i needed the front end fixed. but the car looked fine. so maybe something like this happend. the price wasnt to much, about $800 i think it was to fix.

there is a picture on the listing of the right front wheel folded under the front of the car, so you’ll probably need at least a control arm, a strut, a hub, a tire and a wheel, there is no picture of the sub-frame the control arm attaches too, so don’t know if it is bent, if it is you will need to replace the entire sub-frame which is costly, it is the part the engine and transmission sits on, also you will probably need a drive axle, if you look ad the pics the strut towers look ok but the right front fender is pushed back and interferes with the door, so that tells me the uni-body may be bent. as far as airbags this is probably why the car was totaled, when a drivers airbag goes off you have to replace the entire steering column because the force that makes it go off collapses the column, when the passenger one goes off you need to replace the dash support it mounts too for the same reason.
the car looks like it WAS a nice car, and not impossible to fix back up but looks like it needs some pretty costly parts
