I share an ebay account with a friend. And apparently he was shill bidding. The account was under my name so he doesn’t care much about the suspension or the outcome of the situation. So I was suspended for 30 days. It says you can appeal after that time, but after reading a few peoples’ blogs, they seem to be under the impression that their account will automatically recover with the appeal. I was wondering which is the case. Also within the 30 day period, I tried to create a new account and got caught. After being caught, do I still have the possibility of recovering my account or am I forever banned? After being caught, I received no email whatsoever so I am thinking that perhaps there was no consequence. Please help answer my two questions. 1) Will the account automatically recover? & 2) Do I still have the possibility of recovering my account even after getting caught for trying to create a new one?
