it was a lttle akward making the video because I have to look through the cameras view finder to see what Im doing while I am working… I got this off ebay from user kinswoodusa and even though the description wasnt quite correct: it lists hemispherical rod ends…, I knew what they were and what they did, and didnt want to pay the money for a brand name, so I bought these. BIG mistake… theres so much play that it is impossible to set any of your front end alignment specs… now aside from the soft rubber, if he or she were to source the correct size (I guess I want to call it a spacer) and either make the bottom of the white part thicker or the thick part of the little stud a shorter distance from the head of it, the whole thing could at least be assembled tightly which would probably take alot of the stress off of the rubber, there would still be plenty of force against the rubber just because its at a major pivot point of the suspension, so as soft as it is I would bet it would eventually tear no matter what, but who knows…

WORKS ON: Yamaha V-max 1994-1996. 500 and 600 Models Standard 121″ Track. NOT the XT Model Upgrade your suspension fast and easy. Yamaha V-max snowmobiles are great, fun, reliable snowmobiles. But the rear suspension is very low to the ground. Adding 3.5 inch Drop Brackets is the simple and inexpensive answer. Immediately you will notice a major difference in the looks and handling . The steering is much more responsive and the deep snow performance will improve dramatically. ——- Same accessory as SLP sells as a Universal Rear Suspension Hanger, But these drop brackets are custom made so they are ready to install quickly. Made out of 3/16″ hardened steel so they are Strong. SLP and other manufactures are universal, so you have to do all the work,( ie: make patterns, drill, cut), to make them fit. Essentially your receiving a blank piece of steel. ———————– These are custom made Drop Brackets, Adding 3.5″ of height to your rear suspension. Drop Brackets measure 5″ x 7″. The whole project is very simple. Only takes 15 minutes to lift your old Yamaha rear suspension. Kit includes everything you need: 2 Drop brackets, nuts, bolts and instructions. For sale on Ebay: cgi.ebay.com

The eBay seller is part4u. The maker of the part is Black Dragon Power Factory. As far as the seller goes, he first sent the completely wrong fork set to me. When I questioned it, he said that I had better check and could be mistaken. I checked. I wasn’t. I sent the part back and he then found these and acknowledged that he had sent the wrong part. These too appear to be wrong. I wish I had returned them then rather than hanging on to them. In other news, the fender mount is similar and close, but not exactly the same. I was wrong. For purposes of following THIS build, I have chosen to name the bike Zara. If you search for it on my channel you will be able to locate all videos relating to this build.
