PRO SITE SOON,
it was a lttle akward making the video because I have to look through the cameras view finder to see what Im doing while I am working… I got this off ebay from user kinswoodusa and even though the description wasnt quite correct: it lists hemispherical rod ends…, I knew what they were and what they did, and didnt want to pay the money for a brand name, so I bought these. BIG mistake… theres so much play that it is impossible to set any of your front end alignment specs… now aside from the soft rubber, if he or she were to source the correct size (I guess I want to call it a spacer) and either make the bottom of the white part thicker or the thick part of the little stud a shorter distance from the head of it, the whole thing could at least be assembled tightly which would probably take alot of the stress off of the rubber, there would still be plenty of force against the rubber just because its at a major pivot point of the suspension, so as soft as it is I would bet it would eventually tear no matter what, but who knows…
In this video I cover steps 14 through to 20 — this covers the making of the top and bottom suspension links and then attaching them to the axials along with the driveshafts and shocks made in the previous videos. Tips for this section are to install the grub screws half way into the plastic section and NOT the aluminium ones. Also take care with orientation of eyelets and the many parts in the transmission. There is an error in the manual part no AX80032 should be AX 80005.
The other thing in this video i forgot to mention is the gold rings that come with these kits. I DID NOT NEED THEM! You may need them for some cars, when you go to istall them you wil know if you do or not. Jest remove them with a flat head.
