1970 Ford Mustang Fastback Daily Driver /Local Show Car Built on Halloween Friday October 31st 1969 in Metuchen, New Jersey. I was ordered from Memphis and delivered to De Queen Arkansas where I was sold on November 24, 1969. Only 86904 fastbacks were built in 1970 and only 1113 were built like this says the Kevin Marti report. Reborn with a restoration in January 2008. The full restoration was finished at Classic & Performance Mustangs in Denver. Engine work completed at ShakeShaft Automotive in Denver. Suspension work completed at Bel-Kirk Mustangs, Bellevue, WA. Spooky is her name considering the car was born on Halloween, not to mention it is now scary fast.. She was given a new balanced blueprinted roller cam 302 engine with over 370hp at the rear wheels and a reconditioned wide ratio four speed. Lots of high quality parts including a Holley 650cfm 4 barrel carburetor with electronic choke with heat shield, racing electric fuel pump, braded fuel lines, aluminum roller rockers, ceramic coated headers, Milidon oil pan, MSD ignition, Edelbrock air gap intake and water pump. Mallory distributor, new roller bearing clutch assembly, Vintage American Racing Torque Thrusts wheels with new BF Goodrich T/A tires. . She was given a factory correct reconditioned power steering, disk brakes, power brake booster, racing radiator, tuned suspension including a racing sway bar, monte carlo bar and newer interior.
