Before you go hatin on my video, A little back story on this car…. I bought it from a coworker of a friend for 0. It had 2 flat tires and ghetto torch suspension drop. I fixed the tires to get it home, then replaced all 4 with correct tire size. The poor suspension made it unsafe to drive, so I put in 4 struts and springs I bought off eBay used. Fronts are 4 way adjustable KYB’s and the rears are used stock toxonics. I paid 0 for all 4 all said and done. The tires I already had for the fronts, the rears are(were) compliments of New Richmond Auto Salvage. The car is otherwise as I bought it. It has 180 thousand on the dash, but I know nothing of its history. I didn’t put the lame flames on it or the peeling/bubbled blue back glass tint or the ugly fin or the twin gook pipes or the poor Maaco paint or the cracking bondo or all the crazy blue wire loom crap. Sorry for the poor color the first part of the video. We had the camera I borrowed from my brother on Night vision. After I came back we had it figured out and we finished the tires off. We did edit out the parts that you cant see anything. Please see my profile for the original video, but all you miss is a minute of tires squealing. As far as the mechanics of the burnout, I avoided red lining it and most of the time was spent at 5000 rpm. I only needed the brake a couple times, if you watch you can see they are off most of the time. I could only hit second gear for a little bit, then it was back to first. And NO …
So I just bought a 2005 F150 FX4 which has an unaltered factory suspension. I really dislike the uneven high rise rear end and was wondering what measurement it takes to even it out to be level at the front and back. I searched ebay and found 2", 2.5", and 3" leveling kits. Some even have 1" or
1.5" rear blocks or springs. If I get the 3" front, do I need to slightly lift the back because I also don’t want the front end to be higher…just a nice level look. Which is the best option…2.5" maybe? Just to add, I want to be able to clear 35" Nitto all terrain tires on the factory FX4 wheels. Thank you.
Ok, so I am going to sell it soon and i need to know about what its worth. Its a 2003 jeep wrangler Sahara with 134,000 miles. Its got a new 3" suspension lift, new 33" BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires with nice new American racing ATX series rims. It also has an 8" JL sub & amp, also new. The carpet in the interior has been replaced with a rubber green rhino lining also. Brand new gas tank and rear brakes, everything else besides some surface scratches is perfect. (manual trans)
PLEASE just give me a number, and only real answers that aren’t like "this isn’t eBay"
I have a 97 civic and I just dropped the car with tien springs and 15 in deep dish rims. The problem is that when I go over even small bumps the tires scrape the fender. Do I need new shocks on the car? I am kinda low on cash. Will these work?
i have a 1998 jeep cherokee sport and i want to higher it a little so i can fit 31" tires, but i dont want to buy a suspension lift i was just wondering what all will i need to lift my jeep 3" with spacers, i thought i found them on ebay but then i read something like i need back blocks to or something like that because spacers are only for the front????
